Zumbathon for a cause is a massive annual sport and recreation event which aims to showcase a gigantic outdoor Zumba class. This year’s edition will see participants engage in a two-hour Zumba session on Saturday 3 March a Good Hope Seminary School in Vredehoek.
Zumbathon For A Cause attracts Zumba enthusiasts from all ages and walks of life to participate in what is considered as the biggest Zumba class in South Africa.
Zumbathon for A Cause is targeted at people who relate to wellness and health, as well as everyone who wants to make a contribution to fight for Aids awareness.
Some of the proceeds of this year’s event will benefit Hope Cape Town – a Cape Town-based organisation that dedicates its efforts to fight against, inform about and help victims of HIV and Aids).
Renowned SA Zumba instructor, Lucas Mthenjane, will spear-head the event as the main Zumba instructor. Lucas is a Zumba guru on the african continent, and he has travelled the world to learn new aspects of that discipline throughout the years of his practice.
